An opening Mass led by the Bishop of Toowoomba Robert McGuckin was held at St Stephen’s Chapel in Brisbane for Queensland Catholic Education Commission’s (QCEC) first meeting in 2021.

Commission members each received commemorative pins in celebration of the Bicentenary of Australian Catholic education.

QCEC has also produced a celebratory video for the 200 years of Catholic education, to further commemorate the occasion and honour Queensland’s contribution and place in Catholic education history.
